The Lismore Gateway Motel project in Lismore, NSW, was a full-scale renovation undertaken after devastating flood damage. Our studio was tasked with restoring the motel to not only meet but exceed its former standard. We completely renovated all guest rooms, blending modern design with durable materials to ensure longevity and comfort for future guests. The reception area was reimagined to create a warm and inviting entry point, reflecting a sense of community and care. The outdoor spaces, including the pool and surrounding landscaping, were thoughtfully restored and upgraded to provide guests with a tranquil and enjoyable environment. Throughout the project, we prioritized functional design, resilience, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring the motel is ready to face future challenges while providing a welcoming retreat for visitors to Lismore.
